Its surface is carpeted for a non-slip tread that provides your pet a sure footing. Add side rails for added confidence and support for your pet. Carpeted tread will also save their pads from scratching and scaring on ramps that don't feature tread or have something rough (similar to sand paper surfaces).

Side rails offer a step up with confidence that enables your pet to gain better footing while using the ramp. Often times dogs will place their paws against the ramp and side wall to keep them from stepping off the side of the ramp.
