1. Package includes 500 feet (1/2 acre) of wire
2. First, using a leash and holding the collar, walk your pet around the boundary, pointing and shaking the flags, saying "NO" and letting your pet hear the beeping of the collar
3. Next, let your pet wear the training collar and walk the boundary again
