The Garmin GPS system requires very little configuration straight out of the box. Once the transmitter and receiver acquire a GPS signal, the receiver automatically lets you know the location of your dog. Switch on the handheld GPS device, attach the wireless transmitter to the harness or collar on your dog. And go hunting! That's it...no other setup required.

This dog tracking collar picks up a signal from the satellites and "knows" its location. It then transmits a radio signal to your handheld receiver with its exact location. Your receiver "knows" where you are and now it knows where the dog is, so it plots the dog's location on your screen in relation to where you are.
